The Five Essentials of CBSI Bible Study

EFFECTIVE TEACHING

After the Small Group discussion time, the class leader gives an overall insight into the passage through a 15-20 minute teaching.

INSIGHTFUL COMMENTARY

A commentary is included at the end of each adult lesson and is to be read at home after the class teaching. it explains the passage in-depth and provides additional applications

CARING COMMUNITY

Each member should be cared for especially by the leaders of the groups: “All men will know that you are my disciples if you love one another” John 13:35

INDIVIDUAL STUDY

 The lessons are designed for personal study at home covering five days of the week. this allows participants to gain insights into the Bible passage and prepare them for impactful group participation.

ENCOURAGING DISCUSSIONS

The Class members come together once a week in a common meeting place (church, school, community hall) to discuss the questions under the leadership of a trained small group leader
